Q1. What is your Name?
Q2. What is the name of your blog or organisation?
Q3. Where are you located in the world?
Q4. Do you have a favourite Valentine’s Day drink?
No. Sorry, no wise or witty answer here… I just don’t do Valentine’s Day. I suppose some kind of tea, just like any other day.
Q5. What is your favourite drink during the Winter?
Canadian winters are nasty… grey, dark, cold, grey. Did I mention grey? For some reason which I can’t explain, I always crave white tea on the darkest, dreariest, dullest days of winter. When all the fuzzy, suffocating grey starts to invade my head, I find purity and clarity in a cup of Silver Needles white tea. Simple, clean, pure… it’s like a white light that burns away winter’s darkness.
Q6. What is the perfect Winter weekend setting to enjoy the drink?
Indoors. Sofa. Fuzzy socks. All the lights in the house ON. Cuppa tea, a good long book, and no reason to go outside.
Q7. What is usually your last drink of the day?
The last drink I prepare is usually a cup of herbal or rooibos tea. I don’t want the caffeine in the evening, but I like a cup of something mellow to relax with. Right now I’m drinking Teatoxy’s “Energize” which is a bit ironic. I use it to chill out! I like the toasted rice/ popcorn flavour. Just before bed, I usually drink a large glass of water. I feel like it cleans my body as I sleep.
Q8. If you could go back in time, which famous person would like to have a drink with?
I would like to have a drink with Claude Monet. I imagine sitting in his gardens, watching the waterlilies bloom and the dragonflies darting over the little bridge, while discussing which shade of blue most closely matches that patch of sky, just over there… I’d serve a light, fresh Da Yu Ling oolong… on ice. OK… Monet doesn’t even need to be there. I just want to sit and drink tea in his fabulous gardens.
Q9. Where can people find out more about you?
