Q1. What is your Name?
Q2. What is the name of your blog or organisation?
The Cup of Life
Q3. Where are you located in the world?
Q4. Do you have a favourite Valentine’s Day drink?
I wouldn’t say I have a favourite but each Valentine’s Day I do try to have a love themed tea. I used to always have Love Potion which was a rooibos from what used to be Teaopia but am happy to now have a replacement from Tealish Tea. They have a lovely green tea blend with that name that smells heavenly and is awesome for any day (because every day is love day!).
Q5. What is your favourite drink during the Winter?
I’m starting to really get into Keemun black tea. It’s well balanced and distinctive. I’m having trouble getting into Lapsang Souchong on its own (I usually need to pair it with something to balance the flavours) so I think this is a nice substitute as it can have a light smoky taste to it that is bearable for me.
Q6. What is the perfect Winter weekend setting to enjoy the drink?
Inside! haha. Being from Canada I don’t really enjoy the snow. I think it’s pretty from the inside so stay in and watch the snow fall. It’s a nice sight and even better when staying warm with a cup of tea in hand. However if I have to venture out, you can almost always find me with a travel cup of tea as it’s the best to-go companion for this season.
Q7. What is usually your last drink of the day?
Water. Yup, I like to end the day with water before bed. I just like chugging back a cold easy beverage. Sometimes, if I’m patient enough, I might even have a cold steep, usually white tea based.
Q8. If you could go back in time, which famous person would like to have a drink with?
That’s a tough one! I’m not sure I have someone famous in mind. However, I would love to go back in time and indulge in some tea with my aunt or grandma. Although, being Italian, I’m not sure that would be their cup but that’s what I’m most interested to see!
Q9. Where can people find out more about you?
Come and join my tea adventures! I would love to also hear about yours. 🙂
