Laura Burley - Winter 2015 Interview

Q1. What is your Name?

Laura Burley

Q2. What is the name of your blog or organisation?

Laura’s Tea Room

Q3. Where are you located in the world?

Q4. Do you have a favourite Valentine’s Day drink?

Well, if I’m honest it’s the same drink as I would pick at any other time – TEA!

Q5. What is your favourite drink during the Winter?

I tend to veer towards black tea’s in winter rather then green tea’s (though I do chop and change when the fancy takes me!) as I find them comforting, satisfying and a fulfilling brew. I lover the winter and Christmas tea’s, they often come spiced and are a pleasure to drink if brewed correctly. I’m also a lover of a decent quality Keemun, Yunnan or Earl Grey. Nothing else quite like it.

Q6. What is the perfect Winter weekend setting to enjoy the drink?

It would have to be tucked up with either a good book or a good episode of Sherlock Holmes, Poirot or Miss Marple. Nothing quite beats a cup of tea and your favourite detective.

Q7. What is usually your last drink of the day?

I tend to finish the day with a flavoured water. Sometimes I will opt for a Diet fizzy drink but that is becoming increasingly rare.

Q8. If you could go back in time, which famous person would like to have a drink with?

George Harrison without a doubt. I idolised him when he was alive and I was a teenager and it’s not really changed. He was a extremely interesting man and he also loved tea which is a bonus! I have heard that if you were a friend of his he was incredibly loyal to you – you can’t ask more then that!

Q9. Where can people find out more about you?
