Ruhani Sandhu

Q1. What is your Name?

Ruhani Sandhu

Q2. Do you represent a business? If yes, what is the name and your role.

Not right now but I am entrepreneur in the making.

Q3. Where are you located in the world?

Q4. What is your favourite Summer drink and why?

Tea is my all seasons favorite drink. I love tea and make my own tea recipes, with ingredients and herbs like lemon, lemongrass, mint, ginger, mandarins and basil, specifically in summers. You would always find lemon in my cup. Besides that, I always love making ice teas and sangrias in summer. You can check out my blog for some recipes.

Q5. What is the perfect Summer’s day setting to enjoy the drink?

More than the day, I feel tea is in the moment. Whenever you want to escape to planet relax, it’s teatime. But when it rains, I love spices in my cup.

I believe in practicing happiness with reflection and tea.

Q6. Is there a right or wrong way to prepare the drink? i.e. Never drink without ice?

There are two things important in making tea. It’s the right amount of ingredients that you use and the right temperature/time you brew your tea. Rest, it’s all about having tea with some imagination.

Q7. Is the presentation of the drink important? i.e. ceremony, type of glass, setting.

Yes, definitely. Depending on the gathering- if it’s a afternoon tea party, tea ceremony or a summer party, the settings and tea wares change. It’s all about the mood.

Q8. Is there a Summer’s day drink that you feel is underrated? If so, why?

It’s homemade ice-tea. Ice tea is so simple to make and you can add so many interesting things to it. But people prefer buying easy to make ice tea mixes from supermarkets because it’s simple and reachable.

Q9. Where can people find out more about you? i.e. shop address, Twitter username, website url
