Q1. What is your Name?
Q2. Do you represent a business? If yes, what is the name and your role.
I run a business called T-LOVERS, we do tea tours in London (both tasting and historical), tea ceremonies and tea meditations.
Q3. Where are you located in the world?
Q4. What is your favourite Summer drink and why?
After reading this question I realised that I always drink just tea and water (very rarely coffee or juice). So my favourite drink throughout the year is TEA! I am also someone who is not a big fan of blends and drink single origin teas mainly.. Tea is so diverse and so rich in aroma and flavour, and I prefer tea in its pure, most natural form.
This summer my favourites were japanese green teas from ChikiTea!
Q5. What is the perfect Summer’s day setting to enjoy the drink?
Anywhere in nature during sunrise or twilight. Actually, anywhere in nature full stop.
Q6. Is there a right or wrong way to prepare the drink? i.e. Never drink without ice?
All these factors like water temperature, quality of water, tea ware etc etc are important. But what I find more and more with tea (and with anything in life really) is that intention and state of mind of the person brewing it is really important too. The intention really matters. If we brew tea from the heart that is full of love and compassion, this tea will most definitely taste and feel very good whatever brewing methods, water and tea we use.
Q7. Is the presentation of the drink important? i.e. ceremony, type of glass, setting.
Yes, it is important for me, but everyone is different. I like the setting looking beautiful, harmonious, yet simple.
I like to drink tea from clay bowls and brew it in clay teapots. Clay is alive and the way it interacts with tea itself is almost like an alchemy.
Q8. Is there a Summer’s day drink that you feel is underrated? If so, why?
Not really. Each of us is so unique with own preferences and tastes, that each drink will most definitely have its followers.
Q9. Where can people find out more about you? i.e. shop address, Twitter username, website url
