Summer 2014 Interview – Laura (Tea Parlour Liverpool)

Laura - Tea Parlour Liverpool

Q1. What is your Name?

Q2. Do you represent a business? If yes, what is the name and your role.

Tea Parlour Liverpool

Q3. Where are you located in the world?

Great Britain

Q4. What is your favourite Summer drink and why?

Iced teas, with or without alcohol, are a tasty beverage. Done well with just the right amount of sweet, they are light and perfectly thirst quenching. They go great with just about any food and they’re as close to summer in a glass as you can get.

Q5. What is the perfect Summer’s day setting to enjoy the drink?

Hot days, outdoors, preferably overlooking the water. Or better yet, on the water, in a yacht. :))))))

Q6. Is there a right or wrong way to prepare the drink? i.e. Never drink without ice?

Plenty of ice, nice tall glass and freshly made. None of those nasty, sugary powder mixes.

Q7. Is the presentation of the drink important? i.e. ceremony, type of glass, setting.

Presentation is important to everything. I love the details, the appearance stirs the imagination as well as the palette. You feast with your eyes first. If something is served in the wrong type of glass, it can be disappointing no matter how tasty.

Q8. Is there a Summer’s day drink that you feel is underrated? If so, why?

Lemonade… the real homemade, freshly squeezed stuff. It’s just such a nice treat when you get it can its good.

Q9. Where can people find out more about you? i.e. shop address, Twitter username, website url
