Summer 2014 Interview – Laura Burley

Q1. What is your Name?

Laura Burley

Q2. Do you represent a business? If yes, what is the name and your role.

Q3. Where are you located in the world?

Lancashire, UK

Q4. What is your favourite Summer drink and why?

Tea. I like it because despite what everyone thinks, it’s very cooling. I like the lightness of green tea and fruit tea’s. I tend to drink black tea more in the winter. It’s refreshing and just lovely to drink.

Q5. What is the perfect Summer’s day setting to enjoy the drink?

Recently I had a lovely day out to celebrate my birthday. I sat overlooking the sea with a decently brewed cup of tea and it was s lovely.

Q6. Is there a right or wrong way to prepare the drink? i.e. Never drink without ice?

Don’t over seep green tea, it goes horrible and bitter. And no added milk and sugar unless it’s Assam which needs a tiny drop of milk!

Q7. Is the presentation of the drink important? i.e. ceremony, type of glass, setting.

A nice cup and saucer for special occasions is fabulous. Really makes the moment.

Q8. Is there a Summer’s day drink that you feel is underrated? If so, why?

Plain water! Sometimes it’s nice to go back to simplicity. You can get water with added flavours but nothing beats a glass of ice cold water on a hot day after a work out!

Q9. Where can people find out more about you? i.e. shop address, Twitter username, website url
