Q1. What is your Name?
Q2. Do you represent a business? If yes, what is the name and your role.
I run a blog called Tea in the Tub.
Q3. Where are you located in the world?
South West England, very close to Wales.
Q4. What is your favourite Summer drink and why?
I’m a big fan of iced teas. I’m currently enjoying a watermelon and vanilla flavoured green tea. It’s lovely hot but even better with lots of ice and chunks of fruit in a jug.
Q5. What is the perfect Summer’s day setting to enjoy the drink?
In an ideal world, I’d be sitting in the shade on a sunny tropical beach drinking a pina colada out of a coconut. I can dream can’t I?
Q6. Is there a right or wrong way to prepare the drink? i.e. Never drink without ice?
That completely depends on what you are making. If you are making a standard black tea you should apparently add the milk before the water so that you don’t burn the leaves. WIth all teas never apply water that is boiling, always wait for it to cool a little before.
Q7. Is the presentation of the drink important? i.e. ceremony, type of glass, setting.
I always make my tea in my favourite ‘Almost Normal’ mug if it’s available. If I’m drinking chai then I’ll have to use the biggest mug possible. However I’m a bit weird and like to drink matcha from an old China bowl.
Q8. Is there a Summer’s day drink that you feel is underrated? If so, why?
Iced green tea! It’s so so yummy. I actually posted a recipe on my blog not so long ago. It’s refreshing and super healthy.
Q9. Where can people find out more about you? i.e. shop address, Twitter username, website url
