Q1. What is your Name?

Andy Kincart

Q2. Do you represent a business? If yes, what is the name and your role.

Eco-Cha. Sourcing Director

Q3. Where are you located in the world?

Central Taiwan

Q4. What is your favourite Summer drink and why?

Cold Brew Unroasted Oolong Tea

Because it is thirst-quenching, cooling, no additives, healthy, very refreshing, and DELICIOUS!

Q5. What is the perfect Summer’s day setting to enjoy the drink?

Late afternoon, backyard or in a park, shady, breezy leisure time.

Q6. Is there a right or wrong way to prepare the drink? i.e. Never drink without ice?

It’s simply a matter of using the right proportion of leaves to water and allowing time for the leaves to brew at either room temperature for a few hours or overnight in the fridge. If it is chilled, ice is not necessary but also works, particularly when it’s hot out. No sugar or anything else is needed.

Q7. Is the presentation of the drink important? i.e. ceremony, type of glass, setting.

Presentation is important if you want it to be. In other words, depending on the occasion and the company, etc. The drink is what it is, and aesthetics also make a difference in the overall experience. I like it in a tall pilsner glass or a tall glass mug.

Q8. Is there a Summer’s day drink that you feel is underrated? If so, why?

Yes, iced tea. Because it’s so particularly refreshing in its pure simplicity. It’s also one of the healthiest options.

Q9. Where can people find out more about you? i.e. shop address, Twitter username, website url
