Spring 2015 Interview – Jennifer Forehand (SereniTea)

Q1. What is your name?

Jennifer Forehand

Q2. What is the name of your blog or organisation?

Q3. Where are you located in the world?

Niceville, Florida, USA

Q4. What currently is your favourite drink and why?

Just last week I have fallen in love with a Chilled Chai Latte! It has become a fun Sunday morning tradition at our house to make Chai Latte’s. As the weather in the panhandle of Florida has been warming up (Who’s kidding? It’s hot!) we have been thinking of cold drinks & so decided to try some Chai experimenting one evening last week, with great results! We made our usual Chai Latte’s then poured over crushed ice, & whole ice cubes, then compared. Knowing what our brew normally tastes like, we were a bit disappointed at how much the ice diluted the drink. We decided to just chill it in the fridge overnight & see what we got. Let me just say, Love. love. love.

Q5. Do you change your drinking habits during Spring?

Yes, to some degree. I still need my morning cuppa, but tend to go to more cold infusions during the rest of the day. Our Watermelon Patch tea makes a refreshing cold infusion!

Q6. Is there a coffee or tea you think others should try?

If you haven’t tried it yet, you have got to try Matcha. It’s so different from the teas we normally drink & can be used so, so many different ways. I like to make Matcha Latte in the afternoons to drink with mini-Oreos – I know, indulgent, but my kids love it, too!

Q7. If cost wasn’t a factor, where would you like to be right now enjoying a drink?

Somewhere cooler, anywhere cooler…

Q8. What do you think should be done to stop people from drinking too much alcohol?

Teach responsibility. Teach consequences. Teach balance. Teach self-control.

Q9. Where can people find out more about you?
