Q4. What currently is your favourite drink and why?
With the weather getting nice and the beautiful colors of spring I have been enjoying a lot more fruity teas that can be brewed hot or cold. Either way, what a sweet and flowery way to enjoy the day.
Q5. Do you change your drinking habits during Spring?
I switch to more cold teas but most of my fruit or flowery blends can be brewed either way. I am less looking for the soothing warmth of a hot brew and instead looking for the comfort of taste and mouthfeel for springtime tea drinking.
I also go with lighter flavor teas and even coffees, sometimes mixing “dirty blonde chai” and iced.
Q6. Is there a coffee or tea you think others should try?
Currently I am absolutely in love with Fit Life Tea’s Teatox and Energy Tea, but I have been starting my mornings with the delicious flavors of Zest Tea and I think everyone needs to patron these two companies. I am always looking for more tea companies to sample and post about though, so my favorites might change or shift depending.
Q7. If cost wasn’t a factor, where would you like to be right now enjoying a drink?
I would love to go to Japan and enjoy a tea ceremony in a Zen tea house or I would also enjoy a tea ceremony in Korea. Definitely if money were no factor those would be the top two places to enjoy a cup of tea right now.
Q8. What do you think should be done to stop people from drinking too much alcohol?
I was always taught that everything in moderation, even moderation was a good way to have a happy, healthy life. Possibly instead of “cutting” out certain activities we should be moderate in our activities, such as alcohol. Otherwise, I don’t actually have many suggestions as no blanket statement/action will cover all cases.
