Autumn 2014 Interview – Sassy (Teapreneur)

Sassy - Teapreneur

Q1. What is your Name?

Q2. What is the name of your blog or organisation?

Q3. Where are you located in the world?

Q4. What is your favourite Autumn drink and why?

As the days get colder and shorter, I enjoy reaching out for an oolong tea as it’s slightly floral and reminds me summer. I love Phoenix Honey Orchid. It tastes of, well, warm honey! Heading into winter and cold, dark nights just screams mulled cider! The warm spices are delicious and I’m going to try making some this year.

Q5. What is the perfect Autumn day setting to enjoy the drink?

Cold, clear skies overlooking the sea for either drink. I even have the perfect spot in Cornwall for just this! Mulled cider with good friends in any setting is also perfect.

Q6. What contributes to receiving a high quality drink?

When it comes to tea then you can’t beat freshness for quality. The depth of flavours that come from loose leaf tea is unbeatable and the subtle differences in those flavours from the 1st to 4th, or 5th steeping is something I really enjoy You don’t get that with teabags!

Q7. What drink do you start your day with and why?

Hot water with fresh lemon is a regular for me – it’s great for your skin. I also love strong Assam with milk. No reason other than it’s just an old favourite for me.

Q8. Do you order a different drink whilst travelling?

I’ll generally go with the flow, but I am a bit fussy about my tea and have been known to pack my loose leaves in my old kit bag…

Q9. Where can people find out more about you?
