Autumn 2014 Interview – Sara (Tea Happiness)

Sara - Tea Happiness

Q1. What is your Name?

Q2. What is the name of your blog or organisation?

Tea Happiness

Q3. Where are you located in the world?

New York, NY

Q4. What is your favourite Autumn drink and why?

Chai Latte- I always want ginger, cinnamon and cardamom in the fall. Add strong black tea, and a bit of milk and sugar and it’s the best thing to help slog through chilly dreary fall days but also enhance the crisp sunny days as well.

Q5. What is the perfect Autumn day setting to enjoy the drink?

Hiking through a forest with vibrant, crunchy leaves with the sun shining and a snap of crispness in the air.

Q6. What contributes to receiving a high quality drink?

Freshness, a brand with experience, and small batch production. Careful attention to details and passion for the product will produce higher quality.

Q7. What drink do you start your day with and why?

A strong English breakfast tea. I usually over-steep it because I like it with a bitter punch to wake me up. I brew it as my family is getting ready, and I take it with me in a travel tumbler. Sipping on the subway and when I get to work creates a calmer start to the workday.

Q8. Do you order a different drink whilst travelling?

When travelling inside the US, it’s very hard to get a good cup of tea. I usually bring my own and use bottled water to prepare. When I’m out and I can’t brew my own, I’ll often order coffee instead, since there is a better chance of getting a drinkable cup. Unless there is a cafe with a good tea list. If a nice list is available I’ll usually try a cup since there is more potential for a good tea experience.

Q9. Where can people find out more about you?

My tea blog:
