Q4. What is your favourite Autumn drink and why?

We’ve lots of fav’s but right now we’re really enjoying our No.06 Golden Monkey. Its a rare and complex black tea with notes of spiced apples, cocoa and honeyed peach. It fits perfectly with the season, dark and broody with a hint of spice, and can be reinfused several times.

Q5. What is the perfect Autumn day setting to enjoy the drink?

Wrapped up warm sat at the top of Old John Hill in Leicestershire watching the deer and taking in the Autumnal scenery.

Q6. What contributes to receiving a high quality drink?

It’s all about intention, if we can provide a chain of individuals who care enough about what they are doing then the end experience will be of the highest quality. Service is important, there is something very humbling about it and good service fosters connection between individuals and improves the experience for those involved.

Q7. What drink do you start your day with and why?

Always No.07 English breakfast blend, we’re creatures of habit.

Q8. Do you order a different drink whilst travelling?

Its sometimes difficult to get good quality tea and coffee on the road. Coffee is definitely improving and we’re on a mission to improve tea’s lot. We believe that the more discerning should have choices too and we would like to see an increase in artisan food and drinks products. Hopefully this will improve choice and give smaller local businesses a share of the market currently dominated by chains.
