Autumn 2014 Interview – Anna (Old Brickyard Tea Garden)

Old Brickyard Tea Garden

Q1. What is your Name?

Anna aka Tea Lady

Q2. What is the name of your blog or organisation?

Old Brickyard Tea Garden

Q3. Where are you located in the world?

A field, Melton Mowbray, England, UK.

Q4. What is your favourite Autumn drink and why?

Keemun with a hint of smokey Lapsang Souchong or a malty Assam. Perfect teas to warm your heart and soul.

Q5. What is the perfect Autumn day setting to enjoy the drink?

Sitting inside my cosy little tea shed, looking out across the mellow Autumn mists, as they drift across the fields. Sipping a cup of Assam, as the sun dips down behind the trees. Devouring a piece of delicious homemade cake. The perfect Autumn day!

Q6. What contributes to receiving a high quality drink?

The brand, setting and service, all contribute. The best tea in the World would not taste half as well if it were served in a plastic cup, in a cold, uncomfortable place, by a miserable being.

Q7. What drink do you start your day with and why?

Usually a delicate Darjeeling, a light first flush to sip whilst sitting in bed. A beauTEAful gentle way to start the day.

Q8. Do you order a different drink whilst travelling?

Always – if possible I like to try the local speciality.

Q9. Where can people find out more about you?
