Andy Kincart

Q2. What is the name of your blog or organisation?

Eco-Cha

Q3. Where are you located in the world?

Taiwan

Q4. What is your favourite Autumn drink and why?

This year’s fall batch of Dong Ding Oolong from Phoenix Village, Nantou Taiwan. This tea is a medium-well roasted Dong Ding Oolong with a mild yet full bodied character that somehow is reminiscent of foliage, raking leaves, and pumpkin pie. It has a nutty sweetness that I simply never get tired of.

Q5. What is the perfect Autumn day setting to enjoy the drink?

Late afternoon tea picnic in a woodsy park.

Q6. What contributes to receiving a high quality drink?

The tea artisan’s expertise and dedication to making the best tea from his seasonal produce.

Q7. What drink do you start your day with and why?

Usually a roasted Oolong, but sometimes a green Oolong. I choose this because it has the optimal invigorating and clarifying effect without being too caffeinated.

Q8. Do you order a different drink whilst travelling?

Yes, most likely I would order a black tea or a coffee if I am out – just to keep it simple and more guaranteed relative satisfaction.
