Q1. What is your Name?
Q2. What is the name of your blog or organisation?
Q3. Where are you located in the world?
Boston, MA USA
Q4. What is your favourite Autumn drink and why?
It’s a tossup between a “chai-der” and an Earl Grey latte made with soy milk. The “chai-der” is a delicious mix of chai and hot apple cider, definitely a traditional autumn drink with a twist! And you can’t beat an Earl Grey latte with soy milk, no. Maybe with almond milk instead but otherwise…not a chance.
Q5. What is the perfect Autumn day setting to enjoy the drink?
I live in New England which is the best place to be in the autumn, period. Outdoors surrounded by beautifully colored trees, leaves on the ground, mild but crisp. Or indoors but with a nice view of such a scene.
Q6. What contributes to receiving a high quality drink?
Quality is definitely in the eye of the beholder! I like my tea and tea variations. I’m pretty picky on my teas and enjoy steeping loose leaf teas in my tea infuser and even have a travel size one that I keep on my desk at work. There are some places nearby I can be confident will get me decent tea and I’m willing to pay extra for tea I can’t get just anywhere.
Q7. What drink do you start your day with and why?
Jasmine green tea. It’s nice, light, a bit floral and tasty. Failing that, I enjoy a nice blend of green tea and lemongrass. I tend to be prefer lighter teas in the morning and heavier, more full bodied ones in the afternoon and evening.
Q8. Do you order a different drink whilst travelling?
I tend to stick to my drinks or similar to them when traveling, although sometimes I’m more likely to splurge on wine and enjoy something of higher quality than a standard table red.
Q9. Where can people find out more about you?
I blog at http://www.TeaAddictedGeek.com about…well, tea (of course), and often about fitness, recipes, and sometimes product reviews. Thanks for the opportunity and may your tea always be full of quali-tea!
